iPed is not really a threat against Apple’s iPad. Who wants to carry an imitation around if everybody owns an iPad? Yes, I know it’s cheap, but it’s just an imitation. It’s a junk and nobody wants to carry it around.
If you’re a big fan of Chinese-cloned gadgets, then I bet you’re happy right now. You’re pretty excited to own one of these piece of junks. But, if you want original gadgets from original manufacturers, then iPed is not a buzz for you.
That’s all that I wanna share today. iPed is really nothing compared to iPad. Even if it’s powered by Android, I will never ever want to have one, even if someone give it to me for free, I’ll just keep it and never use it.

do you know that most products nowadays are mostly made in china or assembled in china. Lets take for example the laptop you or your friend is using now, it may be an HP, DELL, TOSHIBA, or what ever brand, you will find at the bottom “Made in China”, but it is an American or Japanese of origin.
Some American Companies and manufacturers moved to China because of cheap labor. And the reason , so they can sell the product cheaper.
The whole product and parts inside are designed in America or the country of origin , then the design is sent to china factories for manufacturing.
In China, when you ask your product to be manufactured there, there should always be a china version, whether it is a simple clock, rubber shoes, kitchen utensils , bags or what ever product they think will sell well, they must have a china version.
China version is exclusive for chinese people use only, as they reason out to original creator of the product., that is the strategy they used and still using to get the core of a product design/invention. Smart !
China version is born, so using a certain product ideas becomes legal without paying any patents or license or whatever any legal obligation, why ? because it is china version,, it is in china and in china it is legal.
As for the iped, the china version is not much of any difference from the original ipod, some applications are just removed but speaking of the materials and or parts inside, the same with the original, INTEL processors etc etc etc…
you may find the plastic too thick or faded, but it is intentionally done so as not to be exactly the same with the original, why ? if they sell it outside china, that is where they will have trouble. but if you will ask them to copy a product and you want it exactly the same as the original one, sure they can do it, why ? they are also the manufacturer of the original products you are using now.
An example is right in front of you..
If iped works fine and serve the user for a couple of years or at least two years, well that is a very good product.
We don’t need a very durable electronic gadget/product that should last 5-10-20 years , technology changes every 3-6 months, new invention/design or idea comes out once in awhile and before you knew it, another one comes out again and your new electronic gadget is phase-out already.
What we should always think is for the product to be affordable for most people and it will serve the purpose. make people happy and productive.
No one will force you to buy iped or any china copycat product.
Better if you post the specs of both products so readers can choose instead of calling iped-china version as a piece of junk without you actually testing and owning one.
Have a nice day !

It’s a matter of user perspective. The web is so ubiquitous now that all kinds of people need and want to use it as part of their daily lives. As in all of life, some people will be very fashion or image concious about the products they buy and use. This isn’t necessarily a negative thing, it’s not my place to judge. While its simply fact that the technology of an iPad is superior; we can still look at the face-value capabilities of one of these ‘knock off’s’ and see that they actually provide great practical use for a very cheap price. For someone just needing a content reader or web browser; the value is hard to deny.
As for calling it a copy-cat or knock-off… It’s purely superficial. Copying the branding is a bit twee, but the device itself is no more a copy of the iPad, than an Acer laptop is a copy of an Asus.
To summarise the above: look beyond image, see the practical value, try not to exaggerate (calling any advanced computing device ‘junk’ makes you look ignorant).
