While watching a video in Youtube with my HP Mini 2140, a noticed that the loading time of the video slowed down. I paused the video then waited for a few minutes. After waiting for so long, I refreshed the page. I found out that I can’t connect to the internet and there is not network connection.

I then checked the tiny little icon that indicated wireless connection in the lower right of my desktop. It says “Acquiring Network Address…”

So what I did is waited for that thing to acquire the network address. But I’m so impatient and I think I waited long enough, that’s why I said to myself that there’s something wrong with it.

I then searched the vast world wide web for solutions regarding my problem. After searching for almost an hour and tried all the solutions that other people said worked for them, I finally found the fix for my problem.

I disconnected my wireless connection. Disabled DHCP and TCP/IP, the restarted my PC.

You can disable DHCP and TCP/IP in the Control Panel. Just go to the Administrative Tools, then click Services. You can find a list of Local Services. Browse down and you can see TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper and DHCP Client. Disable them both, then restart your PC. After restaring, go back to the services and enable them. Manually connect to the wireless network. Make sure that you enter the password correctly.

After doing what I told you, you should be able to fix your problem

If this didn’t work. Try another solution. There are a lot of different solutions in the internet for you to be able to fix your problem. But still, I’m hoping that this post helped you and my solution will solve your problem.
