I’ve been looking for hours now of where to download additional widgets for my Samsung 2009 LCD TV. I’ve been very itchy and I can’t wait to have additional widgets for my 46B750 (46″ Series 7 2009 Model LCD). I only have 3 boring widgets, namely USA Today, ACCU Weather, and YouTube. I think Samsung should add a browser widget or a page wherein users can download additional widgets for their TV.
So far, based on my research, we cannot add additional widgets for our TV. Except if there’s a firmware upgrade and that upgrade includes additional widgets. Widgets are available based on your region/country. If you’re from this or that country, this or that widget is the only widget available for you. Too bad, I’m outside the United States. I can’t enjoy the Flickr and Twitter widgets for my 2009 LCD TV. I also can’t use the Yahoo Widgets.
I hope that someday, I can have access to all widgets available for Samsung 2009 LCD TV series.

Hi. Same problem. I use LE40B650 with only 2 widgets ‘YouTube’ and ‘Weather’. It will be cool to have other options. Now Iam looking for other possibilities, for example load the widget from an external HDD or Pendrive.

im from the philippines. got the same problem. stuck with 3 boring widgets. i hope samsung will release a new firmware upgrade.

If you set your samsung TV to another country you’ll get access to the widgets available in that country. I live in Norway and here there are only 3 or 4 widgets available and I set mine to USA and got access to several new ones.

This is a tragedy. I can only get 7 widgets!! Skype I want but it’s only on the 2010 C series. This is not good enough by Samsung. Surely, some developers can create decent widgets for a 12 month old..” State of The Art” TV
