“The Message Received From The Server Could Not Be Parsed. Common causes of this error are when the response is modified by calls to response write, response filters, blah blah blah. That was the error that I always encounter when I’m trying to post a short blog post at aka.name. I’m really pissed off and was really annoyed because I can’t publish a simple message in that website. My friends told me that I should sign up to it because that website was really awesome and I should try it as well.

Just today, I registered at AKA Mobile Directory. The registration process was smooth and fast. All you need to do is enter your desired username and mobile number. After hitting submit and waiting for a few seconds, you will then receive your password in your mobile phone! After receiving the password, you need to login within 24 hours before your registration expires.

Once you’re logged in, you have an option to change your password and enter an alternate mobile number. Once you did everything that I said, you’re good to go! You are now officially registered in the newest Filipino-made Mobile Directory. It’s not just a mobile directory, but a SMS Search Engine. You can search a name, product, service, location, and more!

I tried to search for my name, but there were no results. After entering your search term and clicking go, there will be a message that states: “AKA FIND your search term”. So next is you need to dive to another hassle by texting AKA FIND then your search term and send it to 09229997255. Once you’ve sent it, they will reply instantly, but will inform you that they found nothing: Please refine your search by using two or more specific keywords e.g. AKA FIND name blah blah blah.

After a few minutes of trying to find what I’m looking for, I found nothing. I only spent a few pesos from my load credits. I tried a different search term, but sadly, I just received another error, and now it’s unknown.

I’m pissed off twice today, that’s why I tried another service that this directory was bragging. This awesome service was called mini-blogs. This mini blog feature is just like a mobile blog, but it’s more convenient. You don’t need to visit the site just to post, all you need to do is send “AKA BLOG your message” to 09229997255. Then instantly, your message will be posted. It costs another PHP1.00 but it’s worth it. It’s worth it when you want a personal blog ata AKA.NAME and you want to update it as often as your other favorite social networks.

You can also also post a short message in your mini-blog using your favorite web browser. You can only post plain text, because if you try to use HTML or other tags that aka.name won’t permit, you’ll encountered this error message:

More error messages, more hassle, plus more inconvenience. That’s what I encountered today while I’m testing out this website that my friends are bragging about. So if you want a headache and you want to be pissed off today, please don’t hesitate to register at aka.name.

After this disastrous endeavor that I encountered, I then told my friends that the site they recommended to me didn’t work. My friends told me that maybe their database server was down that’s why there were no results when I try to search on something, even for the most common keywords like “Philippines, “The”, “Yes”, and other basic search terms.

I should try it after a day, one of my friends suggested. So I waited for 24 hours and tried the service again! Now, there are search results on what I am trying to look. I tried to search my name at aka.name and there was one result. After I clicked the result, I found out that it was my mini-blog. I also tried to search for “Philippines” and I found another result, but it’s not related at all. It was all about “the hottest parties, clubs and events” and there were no other results except for it.

I guess I should wait before their database gets populated. As of now, there are only few search terms that has results, most of what you are trying to find didn’t exist in aka.name. Anyway, aka.name is a great service because you can use SMS to find what you are looking for, you can post a message to your mini-blog via SMS, and you can do a whole lot of things on aka.name with just a text away!

To come to an end, aka.name has its potential to become one of the most used apps in the near future. It’s really helpful and awesome! And I know, this website will have all the information we need in the coming days. That day is not today, but surely, that day will come.
